Murrayburg 

 

Background

 

Murraysburg community centre came to existance in January 2009. Centre was started because a need to equip unemployed and unskilled people in rural area's was recognised by the centre of e-Innovation of the Provincial Government of the Western Cape. When cape access apraoched murraysburg with this Idea we nigotiated witht he abet centre which is also a community based project to accomodate us in their old computer centre which was then upgraded with the help of Cape Access. the centre today accomodates a variety of people, from school children to adults. With the help of our facilitators we even help people who are computer illitarate

 

The purpose of this centre is to help,  encourage and motivate our citizens living in rural area's and who don't have these facilities at home. 

 

Centre times

 

Monday to Friday             8:00am - 19:00 pm

Saterdays and Sundays   15:00pm - 19:00 pm
